Full Description
In 1947, Finn Juhl received the Eckersberg Medal for his interior design work of Bing and Grøndahl's store. Amongst the furniture designed for Bing and Grøndahl's store were 12 exhibition tables, of which 2 tables are being sold here. Sold individually, these exhibition tables have frames of teak, shoes of brass and reversible tabletop of Oregon pine on one side and teak on the other side. Designed 1947. Manufactured on special order by Lysberg Hansen & Terp. With label. H. 76 cm. B. 90 cm. L. 90 cm. (6). Designed for Bing & Grøndahl factory's shop on Amagertorv in the center of Copenhagen in 1947. This was one of Finn Juhl's first big assignments on designing a public interior.
