Niels Otto Moller Model 62 Chair 50th Anniversary Edition in Light Rosewood

The original Model 62 was designed in 1962 by Niels Otto Moller with a leather or fabric seat. Oliver Olsen designed a Paere Dansk edition of Model 62 using a seat made of 100% solid rosewood.

In 2012, Jorgen Moller, the original designer’s son, loved so much the chair with a solid rosewood seat that it was agreed that chair would be launched as a 50th Anniversary of the original design. Oliver Olsen waited patiently for his collection of rosewood bought in 2006 to cure before the chairs could be made. The dryness and quality of the rosewood was ready in 2017.

The limited edition 50th anniversary edition released by Paere Dansk has a solid rosewood seat that is joined by cabinetmakers to the Model 62 frame made in Denmark at JL Moller. Each limited edition anniversary chair has a certificate of authenticity signed by Jorgen Moller on behalf of JL Moller, the maker of all chairs designed by Niels Otto Moller since the 1940s.
